What’s Happening At Solis Wealth Management?

Happy New Year greetings to all! I hope that everyone enjoyed the holiday season with family and friends.

For me, these times are changing as my children and parents are both growing older. Scheduling things is slightly more challenging, but our time together is what is important, and we make it happen!

The girls are doing great – I am so blessed and proud. My oldest daughter Erica continues to amaze me as a young adult managing her studies, working, and just “adulting.” I cannot believe how fast time has passed as she will be preparing to graduate from UC San Diego in 2025 with her major in human biology and she was just approved for a minor in chemistry. She is currently looking for a Physician’s Assistant program to apply to and we are not sure what state she will land in to live.

My younger daughter Chelsea turned 17 in January and most recently obtained her driver’s license and is increasing her independence. It’s a weird feeling to me, with mixed emotions for sure. She has just entered the full IB Program at La Quinta High School, which is a big step for her as she accepts this challenge!

As for myself, I am keeping busy with my passion for physical activity. I most recently participated in the charity cycling event, Tour De Palm Springs, honoring military, first responders, and veterans. I completed the 64-mile ride and was fortunate to ride with a local team from La Quinta Resort and Club. The experience and people made for a perfect day, a huge thank you to all the Military, first responders, and Veterans!

I wish everyone a happy and healthy 2024 and remember to stay present. When I find myself moving too fast, I think, where are my feet? That’s where I need to be focused!
